Dr. Gabriella Ambrose is originally from the beautiful Caribbean Island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. She moved to the United States to pursue her college and dental education. Dr. Ambrose and her husband (Craig) moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2020.
She earned her B.A. in Psychology and Minor in Chemistry from the University of Miami in 2011 and in 2013 a Master of Biomedical Science from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers University) with a concentration in Oral Biology. She later attended Nova Southeastern University in Florida for her dental degree which she completed in 2017. Nova Southeastern became her home for the next 7 years as she continued on in their Periodontology Residency program which she completed in June 2020. In September 2021, Dr. Ambrose became Board Certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery from the American Board of Periodontology, a recognized specialty of the National Commission on Recognition of Dental Specialties and Certifying Boards.
Dr. Ambrose believes working closely and collaboratively with other dental colleagues is paramount to patient care and continued professional development. As such, she believes the practice structure of Lane and Associates allows for this type of environment.
As a child, Dr. Ambrose knew numerous persons (both children and adults) who either could not afford dental work or were extremely apprehensive of the dentist. In turn, this resulted in extensive medical and dental work going untreated. Overall health and wellness can greatly affect the treatment outcome. Thus, she believes a comprehensive approach to dental care is imperative. Furthermore, forming a trusting doctor-patient relationship is the cornerstone of improved, comfortable patient care. Dr. Ambrose loves being in a position where she can both educate and provide services to her patients which improves their life and overall health.
