Dr. Brittany Burkhard was born in Fayetteville and spent most of her childhood about 25 minutes southeast in Tar Heel, NC. She graduated from West Bladen High School in 2010 and then attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Biomedical Emphasis. She then earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2018 from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. During her dental school career, Dr. Burkhard was awarded the National Health Service Corps Scholarship and was an active member in a number of organizations.

After practicing in public health dentistry for a few years, Dr. Burkhard joined the Village Family Dental team in May 2020 at our St. Pauls location. She enjoys treating a wide spectrum of patients from children to adults and has a passion for providing high quality dental care to patients in underserved, rural areas. Dr. Burkhard is a member of the American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society.

She currently resides in Eastover with her husband, daughter and two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, boating, riding ATVs, and eating out at local restaurants.
