Dr. Bhushan Thakkar is a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon passionate about providing exceptional care to his patients. He has undergone extensive training and holds multiple certifications in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency at Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 2020. Before this, he also successfully completed Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency at Rani Durgavati University in Jabalpur, India in 2015. Dr. Thakkar is a member of various professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the North Carolina Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Thakkar has a vast range of expertise and training in various Oral and Facial surgical procedures, such as Wisdom teeth extractions, Dental implants, In office sedation, Facial trauma injuries, Dental and facial infections, Oral pathology, Tempero mandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. Before moving to Fayetteville, he served as an Assistant Professor in Oral and Facial Surgery at East Carolina University, Greenville, NC, providing care to patients with complex Oral and Facial Surgery needs.
