Tooth Eruption

Understanding the Milestones of Tooth Eruption: From Baby Teeth to Permanent Smiles

The two bottom front teeth are the first to develop in your baby’s mouth, typically around six to eight months. The four upper front teeth and the remaining teeth will appear periodically in pairs until the child is about 2 ½ years old. At this age, your child should have all 20 of their teeth.

As your child grows, so do their smiles. Around the age of five or six, the first permanent teeth start to make their debut. Some of these will replace baby teeth, while others will join the existing set. Remember, every child is unique, so don't fret if teeth arrive a little early or fashionably late!
